Miss Cooper
Miss Cooper earned a dual certification in Elementary and Special Education from Salve Regina University and holds a Master’s degree in Reading from the University of Rhode Island. She currently serves as a K-5 Resource Teacher in Warwick, Rhode Island, and is in the process of pursuing National Board Certification.
Miss Cooper is trained in several evidence-based programs, including the Science of Reading, Lively Letters, Wilson Reading System, and holds a Dyslexia Certification.
Her passion for Special Education stems from her personal experience as the eldest of five siblings, two of whom have disabilities. This experience has fueled her commitment to providing tailored, individualized reading interventions to support each student’s unique needs.
Known for her innovative approach, Miss Cooper integrates hands-on learning and play into her teaching, making reading both engaging and enjoyable for her students.
